The Taj Mahal, Proof of King’s Love for his beloved wife

The Taj Mahal is one of the world heritage sites recognized by UNESCO. This building was made as a testament to the love of the famous king Shah Jahan for his wife, Mumtaz mahal to be a resting place at the end of his life or his tomb.

This building took approximately 22 years to complete. In 1983, the Taj Mahal was made a UNESCO world heritage site. The Taj Mahal combines the traditions of Persian art and early Mughal art.

This building contains not only the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal, but right next to it there is also the tomb of Shah Jahan. To be able to enter there, fellow travelers can pay a ticket of 1000 Rupees for foreign tourists or the equivalent of Rp. 200,000 and 40 rupees or the equivalent of Rp. 8,500 for local Indian tourists.
